Hello, friends! Is this time of year busy as yule balls for you too? My Christmas tree isn’t even up yet. YES. I KNOW. Christmas is in 12 days. I am the lamest. BUT I always get a real tree, and I worry about fire and flames and omigod your house burned down because your tree was real, so I delay as long as possible and go to a local nursery to buy a beaut harvested from a tree farm (I could go to an actual Christmas tree farm and cut my own but I have new boots and they’re cute and MUD!) — a farm likely in Washington State because, surprise, surprise, British Columbia apparently doesn’t have enough trees to go around. (That is a lie.) I will get the tree. I PROMISE. Please don’t send elves to my house to throw marshmallow snowballs at me. Unless said elves look something like Vitamin Henry, and then send away!
OKAY. So. A darling friend, Kendall Grey, invited me to participate in a Winter Countdown Giveaway event …
… in which entrants will be eligible to win a boatload of SIGNED PAPERBACK BOOKS. I know, right? So cool! And whoever wins the prize will get one of the VERY FIRST Must Love Otters paperbacks ever in existence since, well, they don’t exist yet. We’re still dealing with that. But they will exist. In a few weeks. I promise.
About the giveaway: enter via the Eliza Gordon Facebook page. Today’s featured author is Madeline Sheehan.

Warning: This is not a story about fate or destiny. This is a story about pain, sorrow, and suffering. This is an impulsive whirlwind romance between two lovers that are not meant to be together. Theirs is not a world with sunshine and roses. Instead, their love blossoms in a secret world full of crime, violence, and death. Their story is about what can be born from nightmares.
