Eliza Gordon, a.k.a., Jennifer Sommersby is the author of thirteen books and three novellas (written under Sommersby and Eliza Gordon), including best-selling rom-com and award-winning YA titles.

Through her business endeavours, SGA Books and Plumfield Editing, she supports authors with editorial services, publishing resources, and hands-on teaching, as well as branding, design, and custom merch through Bard & Bloom.

Eliza/Jenn is also a mom, wife, bibliophile, Superman freak, devoted servant to the much-loved Tuxie Trio, proud grammy of Pippin Took, a Canadian Grand Champion miniature longhaired Dachshund, and a newly minted Canadian.

Eliza writes stories to help you believe in the Happily Ever After; Jenn writes young adult fiction. Her debut, Sleight, was published in 2018 by HarperCollins Canada, Sky Pony (US), and Prószynski (Poland). The sequel, titled Scheme in the US and The Undoing in Canada, released March and April 2020. In 2024, Canadian rights reverted for both Sleight and Scheme and the books have been reissued by SGA Books, now available to purchase in ebook or paperback through the major global retailers.

In May 2025, Eliza/Jenn joined Pulp Literature Press as Head of Novel Acquisitions to revitalize their fiction line, focusing on emotionally resonant commercial and genre fiction.
